Welcome to Hoop Club. By accessing or using the Hoop Club mobile application ("App"), developed and operated by EMJ Tech LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Hoop Club is a mobile application designed to help basketball players track their shooting practice, connect with coaches and organizations, and improve their skills through structured training programs.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Age Requirements

  • Players must be at least 13 years old to use the App independently.
  • Users under 18 require parental consent.
  • Parents may create accounts to monitor their children's activity.
  • Users under 13: Hoop Club complies with COPPA. We only collect personal information from children under 13 with parental consent.

    • 3.2 Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate and complete information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

    • 4. User Roles and Responsibilities

    4.1 Players

  • Track and log shooting sessions accurately.
  • Respect other users and community guidelines.
  • Maintain appropriate conduct in all interactions.

    • 4.2 Parents

  • Monitor your child's activity on the App.
  • Ensure your child uses the App safely and responsibly.
  • Provide accurate consent and contact information.

    • 4.3 Coaches

  • Provide appropriate guidance and training content.
  • Respect player privacy and boundaries.
  • Maintain professional conduct at all times.
  • Verify your coaching credentials when required.

    • 4.4 Organization Leaders

  • Manage team and organization accounts responsibly.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable youth sports regulations.
  • Protect the privacy of players and families.

    • 5. User Content

    5.1 Your Content

  • You retain ownership of content you create or upload.
  • You grant Hoop Club a license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App.
  • You are responsible for the content you post.

    • 5.2 Prohibited Content

    You may not post content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, or offensive
  • Violates others' rights or privacy
  • Contains spam or malware
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Promotes violence or discrimination

    • 6. Privacy Policy

    6.1 Information We Collect

    We may collect the following information:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, date of birth, role (player, parent, coach, organization).
  • Usage Data: App activity, session logs, shot tracking data.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version.
  • Parental Consent Data: For users under 13, parent email or consent form.

  • Provide and maintain the App and its features.
  • Communicate with you regarding your account or App updates.
